Can I pay by cash?
No. You may pay by credit card, debit card or from your checking account through PayPal.
Can I pay by check or money order?
We do not directly accept checks, but if you prefer to pay from your checking account without using your bank check card, you may do so through the free service offered by PayPal. For more information, visit Paypal at http://www.paypal.com.

Can I use my bank/check card if it has a Visa/MasterCard logo on it?

How do I keep my Bags By Chilli handbags clean?
For regular cleaning maintenance, go over your Bags By Chilli handbag with a lint brush. You should apply Scotchguard or a similar product that will repel moisture and water when you first receive the bag. For further cleaning, please use a damp soft towel with warm soapy water to remove dirt from the bag.
How are images made and how durable are they?
Images are actually "baked" into the fabric through what is known as a sublimation process. This sublimation process actually embeds the image into the fabric. The result is an extremely clear image that will not fade, crack or peel.
Do the images snap to the front of the bag (i.e. are they removable)?

What kinds of fabrics are used?
Images are printed on a white, high-quality bridal satin or canvas. The rest of the bag is constructed canvas or leather Most bags include leather straps, trim and bases. The product details for each bag will give you the specific materials.

Photo and Image Questions
Can I put a different image of each side of the bag?
Yes. Almost all Bags By Chilli products have this option. The bags take images on both sides and can be the same or different images. You choose! ($50 fee applies for different image)
Can I submit any image?
You may submit any image as long at it is your own personal property or you have obtained the right or permission to reproduce it. By ordering from Bags By Chilli you confirm that you own the rights to the image(s) or have obtained relevant permission(s) to use the image(s) prior to submitting an order. Bags By Chilli will not be held responsible for any discrepancies involving the license holder and the customer who submits the photograph.
Can my image be changed from Color to Sepia or Black and White?
Yes. Include this request in the Comments box when you place your order. If you are mailing your images to us you may request that we change your image to Sepia or Black and White and we will edit the image at no additional charge.
Can you eliminate the red eye effect on my images?
We have a tool to reduce or eliminate the red eye effect. This tool typically works very well for people but not animals. Include this request in the Comments box when you place your order. If you are mailing your images to us you may request that we remove the red eye effect and we will edit the image at no additional charge.
Can Bags By Chilli enhance the image that I provide?
Bags By Chilli can fix some simple problems with images such as red eye. Major retouching is done on an as requested basis. If you would like us to make changes to your image, simply include your request or instructions in the comments box and you will be contacted by a Bags By Chilli employee. Orders that do not include specific requests will not be enhanced.
How are images cropped and sized?
Bags By Chilli designers will size your images to fit the construction of the bag free of charge with every bag. If you would like to use only a portion of your photograph for your bag the image will need to be cropped. You can easily do this in almost any basic photo viewing and editing program you have on your computer. You can then upload the new .jpg you made that is just the cropped portion. If you would like us to crop your image for you, select crop service from the Image Services dropdown menu when ordering and put the cropping instructions in the comments box. Cropping service is $10 dollars per image.

Photo Submission Tips
****Please be aware that Bags By Chilli reserves the right not to fulfill any orders using photographs that, in the sole discretion of BBC, are deemed as displaying objectional content or pose potential copyright violations. In the event that your photograph is rejected, you will be contacted by a BBC rep for a replacement picture.****
What type of image file do I need to send?
All images should be at least 4" x 6" in size. If you have a digital image, please upload the photo as a .jpg file. Make sure the image is saved at a minimum of 1024 x 768 pixels or more. The file size should be a minimum of 200KB and a maximum of 2MB. A minimum 2 Megapixel digital camera is required.
What is a digital image?
Digital Images are computer files which, when opened with the right program, display a picture on your computer screen. When a computer displays a digital image, what it does is take the data in the file, and displays thousands of tiny dots on your screen. Each of these dots is called a "pixel". The more pixels an image has, the more detailed the picture can be. Image quality is measured by pixels per inch, also called dots per inch, or "dpi".
What are the minimum requirements for my digital image?
We strongly recommend that your digital pictures be at least 1024 pixels wide and at least 768 pixels tall.
How can I make sure I have a digital image that is at least your recommended size?
If you already have an image:
- Open My Computer.
- Find the image you want to use.
- Set your mouse pointer on the image, click the RIGHT mouse button once, and release. A small menu will appear.
- Set your mouse pointer at the bottom of the menu on "Properties" (It will highlight), click the LEFT mouse button once, and release. A new screen will pop up.
- You should see several tabs across the top of the page. One of them will say "Summary." Click it.
- You should see a list of image properties. "Width" is the image width in pixels, and "Height" is the image height in pixels.
If you are planning to take a picture with a digital camera:
- Make sure you have a camera that takes 2 megapixel images or larger.
- Make sure your camera is set to the highest setting before taking a picture.
- Save Images in a JPG format.
- Refer to your camera's manual for more details.
If you are scanning a 4x6 (regular photo size) image:
- Set the scanner resolution to 200 dpi or higher and save the image in a JPG format.
- If your scanner does not have a dpi setting, use the highest available setting.

**Only scans from traditional photo paper are acceptable. Do not send scans reproduced from laser, inkjet or bubble jet printer/copiers. Scan all prints at 300 DPI and save as a .JPG file type.
What type of picture can I mail to you?
The picture that you send in via the mail must be an actual photograph print, not a photocopy or other reproduced image. The minimum requirements for mailed images are that they are at least 4 X 6 and printed on traditional photo paper. Do not send photographs printed from laser, inkjet or bubble jet printer/copiers. If you prefer sending your pictures by mail, your photo(s) will be returned to you. However, we cannot be responsible for photos that are damaged or lost.

Do you have any kind of customer satisfaction guarantee?
Our Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your bag, return it within 30 days and we will remake another bag (same style, same image) at no additional cost.

What is your refund policy?
Due to the personalized nature of these products we do not issue refunds, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Can you update me on the status of my order?
You will automatically receive an email when your order is confirmed, an email with the electronic proof of the image for approval before printing, an email when your order is out for printing and an email when the bag has been shipped. If you have further questions you can email service@bagsbychilli.com and someone will get back with you within 48 business hours.

How does my Bags By Chilli bag get delivered?
All domestic orders are sent to the address you specify via UPS Ground except for PO Box addresses.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Your customized Bags By Chilli bag will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks to be completed and shipped. Orders cannot be processed until all information is received with the photograph/digital image.
What are the shipping and delivery options?
We offer several different types of shipping via FedEx and the U.S. Postal Service:
Standard shipping in Continental U.S. ships from our factory in six to eight weeks via UPS.
Priority shipping ships from our factory in six to eight weeks via UPS.
Priority Canada & Mexico ships from our factory in six to eight weeks via UPS.
* Priority orders are rushed through the production process and typically arrive about a week earlier than standard production orders.
What carriers are available to ship my order?

Can a finished Bags By Chilli bag be delivered to someone else?
Yes. We ask you for both the shipping and billing address for this reason. We will not contact the recipient in any way.
How will I know when my order ships?
We will e-mail you a shipping confirmation when your order ships. If tracking service is available, we include the Tracking number in your Shipping Confirmation e-mail.

What do I do if I am having technical difficulty downloading images?
